Occupational profiles of graduates with examples

Optometrists are vision specialists. They have expertise in the core studies in the eye examination and eye disease screening. They sell, glaze and repair spectacles and fit contact lenses and low vision aids. In addition to the core domain, they manage the principles of business sector and they have the ability to get along with a different people.

Access to further studies

Access to Master’s Degree studies at university of applied sciences or university: Master of Health Care in Optometry.

Examination regulations, assessment and grading

Examination regulations, assesment and grating are specified in the course implementation plan. The teacher in charge of the course will be responsible for the assesment. Student will be informed at the beginning of the course on the assesment principles, wich must be based on the cource objectives.
